“Hearts of Gold” was played for Kathy Boston, Founder Kathy’s Care Cards, because it seemed to represent the mission of her company. Kathy embraced the song as her company’s theme song. The impact of the song has come to transcend those whose lives are touched not only by cancer but also by so many other life challenges. In life, people reach out for support from their circle of family and friends. In times of greatest need the support of those they otherwise may have never met can be a powerful source of comfort and inspiration.
