Lisa to perform at Relay for Life event

Lisa will be performing her original song "Hearts of Gold" at the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event in Brunswick County, North Carolina on April 30th and May 1st. She will be singing while Cancer Survivors walk the first and final lap of the event.

Lisa will be performing her original "Hearts of Gold" at the Sunny 95 "20 Outstanding Women You Should Know" celebration on Friday, January 30, 2009. The committee felt that the song captured the essence of the event.

Lisa has formed her own trio with Robert Ragland Jr. on keyboards and Kyle Marti on drums. The trio performs soulful renditions of blues and jazz standards.

Lisa has completed the recording of "Hearts of Gold". This song can be reviewed and purchased online as a download. Cost of the download is $1.29 with a percentage of proceeds being donated to Kathy's Care Cards, Heart of Nursing Foundation.
